The Legend of Buckets

Buckets has been the face of NTBA game days since the very first Nationals — a hoops-obsessed bear with a vertical that defies physics and a heart bigger than the arena.

Born on a blacktop in the middle of a thunderstorm (that's why he hates missing shots — rain checks are personal), Buckets lives for the roar of the crowd, the squeak of sneakers, and the final buzzer.

When he's not firing t-shirts into the upper deck or photobombing family pictures, Buckets spends his time teaching young fans the fundamentals: hustle, heart, and always celebrating with your whole chest.
